The lemon myrtle tree grows in the rainforests of Australia. It can grow up to 66ft in height with evergreen leaves and clusters of small white flowers. The oil is extracted from the leaves. This essential oil has a fabulous calming and uplifting aroma. It's more lemony than lemons and more potent than tea tree oil in its antiseptic, antiviral and antifungal properties. Lemon myrtle is a powerful cleanser which reduces clogged pores in the skin and helps to balance the natural oils, making it particularly good if you’re fighting oily skin.
